The Kraus-Anderson Bike Duluth Festival is a chain-rattling Minnesota biking event you don’t want to miss. Whether you’re a cross-country spandex warrior, free-ridin’ adrenaline junkie or family that craves adventure, good times are guaranteed. Get ready to celebrate our world-class Duluth bike trails with two days of action-packed events.
Short Enduro: Two primarily downhill stages utilizing Spirit Mountain's trails.
Long Enduro: Four primarily downhill stages utilizing the same runs as the short enduro with 2 additional stages along more advanced and technical terrain.
Downhill: Racers will have two timed runs down Spirit Mountain's expert level trail "Calculated Risk". The first run will determine seeding for the final run. Results will be based on the final run only. Full Face helmet required.
Youth Downhill: The youth downhill race will be open to riders who have a bit of bike handling skills regardless of their age. All riders will be racing down the new All Weather Trail. There will be four age categories, male/female 5-9 and male/female 10-15. This race is geared towards the young, up and coming downhill riders that are the riders and racers of the future.
Kids Downhill: The kids downhill course will be open throughout the day. A very mellow path will wind down the base of Spirit Mountain and is aimed at the youngest of young riders! This course is all about FUN and developing bike handling skills. Spend some time here with your little one getting them introduced to the thrill of gravity!
Adventure Ride Short 20 Miles: Are you looking for a perfect active moutain bike adventure suited for all types of riders? Then the perfect ride for you would be the Adventure Ride. This sweet little locally guided traverse event will take you through Duluth's epic trail system and offers spectacular vistas of the St. Louis River and much more.
Adventure Ride Long 35 Miles: If you find yourself on the short ride and would like a bit more of a challenge, riders will have the chance to up their skill level on this mountainious climb through some of the most incredible local trails.
Short Track: Get a quick taste of some of the XC Trails and challenge yourself to see if you can keep up with the competition in this new short fast paced event. Want a little more challenge?
