Charlie Rich, Jr. performs all of the hits of the late great Charlie Rich and a few of his own! Rich, Jr. was influenced by such diverse components of popular music as his (Godfather), boisterous rock and roller Jerry Lee Lewis, as well as other SUN Studio rockabilly pioneers, Billy Lee Riley, Carl Mann, and Sonny Burgess and the Legendary Pacers, as well as the subsequent British Invasion rockers, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Yardbirds, and The Zombies. He experienced fame at a tender age - Epic signed him to an album deal in 1974 that was praised by critics and the public alike. His peers, Dan Fogelberg, John Hyatt, and John Prine, were similar to Charlie—visionary artists who were way ahead of their time.
